Cabin fever!

We have for a long time been playing around with more technical content-based demos. On a day-by-day basis I work with realistic simulations, getting to see tons of really cool animations. It is going to be extremely cool to render some of these animations with a demoscene-based spirit. Until now the main problem has almost always been that we’re usually working with our customers IP.

Today I started to design a small annex for our awsome cabin. I guess that I’ll use this opportunity to create some content that I can use to test my geometry importer and visualize stress/deformation data from simulations.

Here is a quick example of how this looks in Abaqus/CAE:

I did a simple simulation to check how we should support it (the quick&dirty fix is more than good enough 🙂 )

And here is an even simpler functional sketch I did this easter.

Hopefully you’ll get to see some of the more finished content in realtime in a not so distant future.
